When Denscot Pool & Spa was facing our 30th anniversary, we knew we wanted to do something different to commemorate the incredible milestone. In the spring of 2024, we formed a committee who would go on to plan a 30th anniversary celebration and customer appreciation event. At one of those table meetings, a desire to do more was expressed. We’re in the pool business. We’ve been in the pool business for well over 30 years by now. To say swimming pools and recreational water sports are a shared passion of our team is putting it mildly. We are, after all, committed to creating enjoyable lifestyles. As a family company, it was easy for us to recognize that safety goes hand in hand with an enjoyable lifestyle.
Enter Every Child A Swimmer, a national initiative dedicated to water safety education for swimmers of all ages, and a liaison for families looking for affordable, quality swim lessons. Every Child a Swimmer provides scholarships for swim lessons through donations and grants. Our 30th anniversary seemed a great opportunity to highlight this wonderful program, but we didn’t want it to stop there.
Every September, our retail store offers our store patrons the opportunity to “build our flock” by making donations of their choice. For every donation, our store will put up another flamingo on our donation wall, and thus by the end of the month our flock has grown!
September isn’t the only time you can make a donation! Our resource page provides more information about the ECAS initiative, and our store often has deals on select items with proceeds going to support the sponsored swim lessons.
