Meet Our Team

Our entire team is ready to help you through every stage and phase of pool ownership. Our office staff are world-class, our construction and service crews are trained and licensed, our retail associates can recommend the proper fix to any DIY issue, and office dog Bodie is always keeping a close eye on everything!

Scott Meeker- Owner

Scott Meeker got his start in the pool business while still in high school. He holds many certifications: SPB, SP-1, HIC and his Plumbing & Contractor license. He has honed his skills over 35+ pool seasons and eagerly shares his knowledge with his employees and the many pool owners he has met over the years. Scott is an enthusiastic teacher. In the off-season he shares his passion for and knowledge of skiing by coaching others on the ski slopes and helping with local ski race teams.

Heather Meeker co-founded Denscot Pool & Spa with Scott. Heather is all about relationships; She is always reminding all around her of the simple truth: we do what we do because we care. Heather is the first to tell you that all of their favorite memories happened poolside: barbecues, birthday parties, or just lazy Sunday afternoons. 

Robin K- Office Manager

Robin has over 30 years of experience in customer and administrative service. She continually looks for ways to improve relations with our clients & staff. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors in her garden, walking in the woods or swimming in the ocean. Her favorite animals are sea turtles, which totally makes sense, because her favorite vacation spot is Hawaii!

Sarah H- Finance Director

Sarah has a background in Business Administration. She is often the voice of reason that balances our team meetings, and she holds the PHTA CMS certificate. She is also a very capable carpenter and out-of-the-box thinker when it comes to creative problem solving. During Covid she constructed much of her apartment furniture from wooden pallets! She applies the same creativity and determination to everything she does for our team, and it is wildly appreciated!

Allie M- Chemistry Expert

Allie has lots of experience in the pool industry. She spearheads pool chemistry training for our crews every spring, and is often called upon to assist with construction and renovation projects, since she also holds her CPB license. We can count on Allie to be an enthusiastic participant in any company event, and when she's not beating everyone at Christmas trivia, you can find her in one of her many other full-time roles: Wife, Mother, and Ski Instructor!

Janice S- Inventory Director and Marketing Assistant

Janice may be the most creative person on our team! She is always coming up with innovative ideas, and can make a almost any Christmas ornament out of recycled goods. Her creativity and organization come in handy when it comes to making sure all our crews have the supplies they need to do their jobs, and when helping our dynamic marketing team with their various campaigns. 

Eric C- Retail Associate

Eric is our primary retail associate. He helps all our store customers test their pool water, and find the products they need. He is the go-to guy for all of Janice's crazy marketing plans for our retail store, and receives it all in good humor. He enjoys video games and working out at the gym with his brother, and is full of interesting information on where to find good Korean food!

Jack H- Field Staff Manager

Jack leads our construction department. He works closely with Scott in making sure our projects are running smoothly and on track. He is involved in every aspect, every step of the way from laying out the initial plans right up to filling the finished pool with water and starting the system. In his off-time, Jack likes to snowboard in the winter and ride dirt bikes the rest of the year.

Owen H- Site Lead

Owen is a natural born leader, which comes in handy in his role as site lead! An active member in the Unite States Air Force, Owen continually rises to any challenge, and can fix just about anything you put in front of him. He and his bride Sarah enjoy traveling far and wide, but you can always find him at the center of any gathering.  

Many P- Lead Mason & Tile Installer

Many is the person responsible for much of the “finishing touches” on our pools. From ceramic to glass tiles, bluestone coping to veneer on a spa wall- he has done it all. Well, you know what they say about good builders, they can build anything. Many is also the gingerbread decorating champion in our company-wide contest three years running! We're a little jealous, but mostly really impressed!

Chris J- Crew Member

Chris is positivity personified! Chris joined our team in the middle of the summer season, and immediately jumped in with energy and enthusiasm. He's a great asset, and has even cross trained to help with service routes when he's not working with the construction department. 

Austin M- Senior Service Technician 

Austin holds many certifications including the CMS and an SP-1. Austin guides the plumbing and equipment install on all pools. He is the point of reference with all automation questions. An Eagle Scout and accomplished hunter, Austin’s first career choice was teaching English. We are glad he joined us instead!

Nick C- Service Technician

Nick has been part of our team since 2021. He completed his CMS training in 2022, and hasn't slowed down since! Each year he leads one of the crews responsible for opening & closing your pools, as well as many installations, and plumbing on new pool builds, and repairs on existing pools. Something you might not know about Nick right off the bat, he once worked at a local shop decorating cakes, and Nick still has the knack because he's won the gingerbread house contest twice!

Zach O- Senior Water Care Specialist

Zach is our most experienced maintenance tech. While most of our crew turn into snow bunnies in the winter, Zach is a snow bird, and flies south every autumn! He maintains pools year-round, splitting the year between Connecticut and Florida. Zach is also an accomplished artist, and has even published a few majorly impressive comic books!

Xavier P- Water Care Specialist

Xavier joined our team the summer of 2022, and quickly tackled every new challenge the pool season threw his way. He starts each day with a smile. When he's not scooting around the northwest corner taking care of pools, he's working at a local pizza parlor, training for his next Spartan race, or playing soccer-and his hair is always on point!

Clare K- Water Care Specialist

Clare manages her own route and is working to earn her first certification. In her spare time, she is a volunteer for one of the area's fire departments and is a graduate of the State of Connecticut Fire Academy. She's a prolific 5K runner, and in the off-season she can be found teaching snowboarding or just hitting the slopes.

Ryan M- Water Care Specialist

Flyin' Ryan is a stellar worker. Always with a smile and funny remark, you can't keep this energizer bunny down! Maybe it's his background in theater, but life is never boring when Ryan's around. His goals include becoming a certified and licensed repair technician, and we're excited to see him tackle everything he sets his sight on!

Matt K- Technician

Matt started out as a temporary employee and quickly became everyone’s little brother or son. Matt is a superstar, and splits his time between our construction crew and our maintenance crew, helping with any number of tasks on any given day. He takes immense pride in getting the pools opened and ready for the season. Matt is also a published author, and loves snowboarding. 

Office Dog Bodie- General Overseer and Morale Booster

Bodie is a company favorite. He often rides along with Scott on sales calls, and when he's not treeing bears or chewing on sticks, you can find him curled up under one the Denscot desks. Pettings, treats and dropped pieces of lunch meat are his paycheck, and you can trust his "paw-fessional" opinion any day!
