A Look at Battery Powered Vacuums

Whether your hot tub is an eensie-weensie single seater, or a hosting cauldron party for your 10 closest gal pals, clean water is the key foundation for excellent hot tub health.

Water Tech’s state of the art Volts, cordless, hoseless vacuums make cleaning your hot tub a cinch. In correlation with the vacuums’ name, (2, 4, 8) the FX Volt vacuums feature a full line of battery powered cleaners, of varying sizes and battery life.

The FX2 is ideal for quick cleaning, getting into those nooks and crannies, and is just the ticket for a vacuuming blitz before guests arrive. Run on a couple of household batteries, this is the ideal choice for homeowners who need to clean those hard to reach corners of their hot tub.

The FX4 model is a popular choice, sporting a power that makes it the ideal choice for hot tubs and small pools. I’ve sold quite a few over the years to spa and pool owners alike, and the feedback is the same: “We love the size, it’s easy to use, does a great job, doesn’t take all afternoon, there’s no hose to trip over—” You get the idea! Generally I would be the first to say, “If it sounds too good to be true…” but in this case, it really is that good.

The FX8 is the next step up, beefy, bold, and can handle nearly anything you throw in front of it. The battery life lasts about an hour from full charge. The flexible vacuum head makes this cleaner ideal for Gunite pool, but can be used on other finishes. Lightweight, durable, effective, the Volts are designed to fit a range of different hot tubs and pools. Each cleaner comes with a small collection of filter bags, each used for different kinds of debris, from leaves and bigger debris to fine sand and silt. Just pop the bags out, dump, and rinse with the garden hose, and your vacuum is ready to go again.
