As a full service company Denscot is no stranger to retail, service, maintenance, construction, and renovation. After more than 30 years in business, there’s not much we haven’t seen or done. Some of the best projects we’ve worked have been renovations. Sometimes it takes more creativity and challenge to take something old and reinvent it, rather than starting with a blank slate like building a new pool.
In 2022, Denscot took this Gunite pool and corrected the deep end wall, modifying it to fit an electric cover. We replaced the waterline tiles, and reshot the Gunite finish. Wedding cake steps in the shallow end were removed and wall length straight steps were installed. This gives the appearance of a wider pool, while maintaining a chic look. These subtle changes have transformed the entire outdoor living space, and the electric cover provides peace of mind when the pool is not being used.

In 2024, Denscot transformed a tired liner pool. The complete job included a new deck, moving the garden shed, and changing the overall shape of the pool. The original pool made no positive statement, but the new pool completely says, "This is the backyard to visit in!"

2025 brought along a Gunite to Gunite renovation, showing that a complete overhaul isn’t always necessary to totally transform an outdoor living space.

Renovations can be as simple as a new tile line, or as extensive as completely restructuring the shell of a pool. It may begin as simply cosmetic, and once you get into the project you may discover that there are cracks or other structural damage that does not meet code. Whatever the motivation, and whatever the process, renos are very rewarding, and are a great option for homeowners who are looking to spruce up their outdoor living space.
